Home Alone
I was thinking the other day, how I never seem to get time alone, in my own house. How many of us actually get that kind of alone time. I can go shopping, or to a Mom's night out and that gives me "alone" time, but to get some quiet time, all to myself in my own house is a rare thing. What if I want to eat cheetos, naked on the couch, Nope can't do it. What about surrounding myself with pillows, popcorn and a good movie, Nope can't do it. There is always somebody, usually a little voice, trying to get my attention for something important, like "what happened to all the cheetos?" I think I would like 1 day a month, even for just a few hours, to get some "ME" time in my own home. If I can just get the rest of the family to GET OUT

Colon Cleansing
Wow here's a great way to kick off my blog of thoughts. Apparently I need to clean out my colon on a regular basis. Now I don't mean the old fashion way, you know, in the room at the end of the hall, but with a great new product that you can only get over the TV at 3 in the morning. Of course, we should all be running to the phone to buy this product, so we can feel younger and lighter, but I can't seem to wrap this idea around my brain. Maybe it's because I am sleep deprived. The funny part is I'm actually watching this ingenious infomercial, mesmerized by the great dialogue and the crazy looking people selling this stuff.
Of course, the real reason I am awake watching this crap (pardon the pun) is because my 2 year old has decided to become a night owl. She is playing in her bed, talking to someone imaginary about her milk, her feet, her eyes, Mickey, Calliou and anything else that pops into her head. Every once in awhile, she calls out Mommy, Mommy, Mommy just to be sure that I am still awake and listening to her. If I don't acknowledge her, then she will scream a little to make it known that she is awake and ready to play. I am not ready to play, but she doesn't seem to understand that in her little world. Perhaps she needs to watch the colon cleansing commercial to help her fall asleep, I know it's working for me. As soon as I finish placing my order, I will probably fall asleep standing in front of the TV watching the remainder of the show....

Rants, Raves and Unstoppable Thoughts
I am a new to this blogging thing, so this could be just a futile attempt at getting all my thoughts down on paper, so to speak. My mind tends to race at times on important topics and on boring, mundane, absurd and just plain crazy topics as well. So I will try and capture these run away thoughts and see if I can keep them in one place, someplace other than my head. So stay tuned for all my Rants, Raves and Unstoppable Thoughts.....
